Tali Roth Performs Live at Garcia Lorca Festival

The recent Garcia Lorca Festival featured Guitarist Tali Roth, who was the only live music performer, giving a solo recital. Following the event, Roth wrote on her social media page:

“Our GARCIA LORCA festival has been recognized and blessed by the mayor of NYC. Honored to have presented a solo concert there. It really felt as an uplifting, uniting, Precious moment for us here in NYC. Congratulations to the director Alicia Kaplan and all the wonderful actors”

In a review by Hector Luis Sin Censura, the critic noted that “All pieces were remarkably outstanding, highlighting the concert offered by the Israeli guitarist Tali Roth, with pieces by Isaac Albéniz, Enrique Granados and Federico García Lorca”

Mayor Bill de Blasio sent a letter congratulating the event, mentioning the importance of promoting art and multiculturalism in New York.
