Nahar Eliaz Won First Award of Vienna Classical Music Academy

Eliaz, who plays the cello, participated in the Winners Gala Concert, accompanied by the pianist Tal Samnon

After being announced as the first award winner of the International Classical Music Competition of the Vienna Classical Music Academy, Nahar Eliaz was invited to participate in the Winners Gala Concert. Eliaz, who plays the cello, was accompanied by pianist Tal Samnon and joined other winners: Laura Hakobyan (harp), Davide Cretarola (violin), and Lyana Ulikhanyan (cello) and Guiomar Ortiz (composer) at Mozarthaus Vienna.

 

Many talented musicians from all over the world performed as soloists in the International Classical Music Competition of the Vienna Classical Music Academy (VCMA), including popular masterpieces of classical, romantic and modern styles, in the famous Vienna concert hall Mozarthaus Vienna, organized by the Vienna cultural association Culture Meeting Point in Vienna (since 1995). After the concert, the musicians received the Music Competition Awards. At this year’s Autumn Recitals award-winner gala concert, the audience enjoyed an attractive musical journey with talented musicians and a colorful program. Works by: Haydn, Mozart, Paganini, Schumann , Rachmaninoff, Pappajohn, Ortiz.
