Cinema Sabaya Wins the Israeli Oscars, NFCT Backed Films Sweep 14 Wins Overall

NFCT-supported Films and Weil Bloch Film Award Winners Sweep 14 Awards at the 2022 Israeli Academy Awards.

2021 Weil Bloch Best Film Award Winner Cinema Sabaya by Orit Fouks Rotem, produced by Green Productions, was the big winner of the night.
It won the Best Film Award, making it Israel’s nominee for the Oscars.The film also won:
Best Director for Orit Fouks Rotem
Best Supporting Actress for Joanna Sa’id
Best Casting for Emannuelle Mayer
Best Costume Design for Rachel Ben-Dahan

2022 Weil Bloch Best Film Award Winner Karaoke by Moshe Rosenthal, produced by Efrat Cohen and Gaudeamus  Productions won:
Best Actor for Sasson Gabay
Best Actress for Rita Shukrun
