Announcing the AICF’s 2018 Aviv Competition Piano Finalists
In addition, three pianists have made it to the final round of the “Best Performance of an Israeli Instrumental Piece” award for piano, and they are Itai Navon, Rafael Skorka, and Elisha Kravitz.
In the first round of the competitions, which lasted for two days, a panel of judges selected the finalists out of eleven competitors. The winner will of the Rafi Guralnik piano award will receive a prize of $6,000. The winner of the “Best Performance of an Israeli Instrumental Piece” award will receive a prize of 15,000 NIS, donated by the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The AICF would like to congratulate the musicians who have made it thus far, and to thank the outstanding competitors who have shared their talent, as well as the audience who came to listen and cheer.
