Kabbalah: The Art of Jewish Mysticism
Ghiora Aharoni’s sculptures are part of the exhibition KABBALAH: The Art of Jewish Mysticism in Amsterdam
Artist Ghiora Aharoni’s sculptures are part of the international exhibition KABBALAH: The Art of Jewish Mysticism at the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam, which also includes works by Victoria Hanna, Anselm Kiefer, Barnett Newman and others.
Curated by Mirjam Knotter in cooperation with the Jewish Museum Vienna, the exhibition juxtaposes ancient Kabbalistic text and objects alongside modern and contemporary works of art to explore the resonance between this esoteric tradition and aesthetic expression, and is accompanied by a fully illustrated bilingual catalogue.
