Dudu Tassa & The Kuwaitis
Dudu Tassa is one of the most famous rock musicians in Israel. He is a singer, guitarist and composer. He has released 12 albums and his concerts are sold out weeks in advance.
The band Dudu Tassa & The Kuwaitis was born from the exploration of the history of his Iraqi-Jewish family and pays homage to his grandfather and great-uncle. The composers and musicians known as the Al Kuwaiti brothers were very popular in Baghdad in the first half of the 20th century and are still considered the founders of modern Iraqi music today.
Dudu interprets her music in Arabic and integrates Qanun, violin and cello in his rock band to create a single style.
Dudu Tassa & Kuwaitis are on the prestigious Sziget Festival, the Colors of Ostrava Festival and as a supporting act of Radiohead on USA tour, among others. occurred at the Coachella Festival.
