About Tchelet Levin

Tchelet Levin was born at December 1997 in Israel. She is studying with Pro. Sharon Rostorf Zamir. Tchelet studied music at the Givatayim Conservatory with Mr. Barak Tal and Dr. Lilach Levanon. Tchelet graduated from the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts (2016) in which she participated at the school’s choir and also performed as a soloist in many concerts and events in Israel and in Europe.

In the past years she participated in numerous masterclasses and workshops with leading renowned Israeli and international artists such as Jill Feldman, Antonella Gianese, Rinaldo Alessandrini, Berthold Schmidt, Noam Krieger and others. Furthermore, she regularly takes part in the Baroque Music seminar in the Israel Conservatory of music, Tel Aviv.

In 2014 she performed as a soloist at the world premiere of the “wiener waltz” for soprano and string quartet by Sofia Gelman-Kish based on a poem by Jakob Brazilai. The piece was dedicated by the composer to Tchelet and the string quartet.

She performed as a soloist with the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble conducted by Barak Tal (2015) and with the Ramat-Gan Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dr. Alex Wasserman (2014-2016). In March 2016 performed Bach’s “Matthaus Passion” with the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, conducted by American conductor Joshua Rifkin in a concert that was part of the first Bach festival in Jerusalem. Tchelet received the America-Israel Cultural foundation scholarships for classical and Baroque music since 2014.
