About daniel kohavi

Daniel Kohavi, was born in Israel. In high school, and elementary school she studied in Rishon L’zion at Amit Amal, Avney, and Vitkin. In high school, She studied interior design and architecture. In her army service she was a martial combat. During the two years of serving her country, she was stationed at the border between Egypt and Eilat.

In 2017 Daniel completed her education in fashion design at Shenkar (College of Engineering, Design and Art, Tel Aviv). During her studies, she explored different worlds of inspiration such as historical clothing, tribal cultures, art installations and more. She learned to work with textiles innovations and search for new shapes. Daniel learned to create her own textiles and materials such as embroideries, prints, and laser works while planning the project she worked on.

During her four years of studying, she did an internship at one of Israel’s well known bridal and evening designers – Lee Grebenau. There, her skills of needlework and embroidery developed significantly. She also was an intern at LISKA -Fur fashion house, she was part of the pattern making team. She searched for new shapes as well as the creation of different fur manipulation techniques for garments, she took part in meetings with customers for fitting measurements.

In 2016 she participated at Remix Talent Competition by Vogue Talents and took the gold award (1st price). In the same year, she had the honor to present her designs at Bilbao International Art & Fashion competition.
