About Dani Tenenbaum
Dani Tenenbaum is a storyteller, VR filmmaker and award-winning filmmaker.
Tenenbaum attended the Minshar for Art Film School in Tel Aviv, Israel, class of 2010, and graduated with an honorable mention. His thesis film 'Guides' participated in several big festivals and won Best of Fest at the Indieworks screening series in NYC. Tenenbaum also won the cinematography award in the 2012 48hours film project in NY for filming "Zoe."
Both of Tenenbaum's feature films - Landing Up and A New Christmas - are now available on digital platforms like iTunes/Amazon Prime/Google play and select VOD platforms.
After directing Landing Up, Tenenbaum started a directors' collective called The Sandbox, a "gym" for directors of sorts.
Tenenbaum is also passionate about using filmmaking in a therapeutic way. He works with The Patton Veterans Project and "I Was There Film Workshops" as a filmmaker/instructor where they do week-long film workshops for soldiers dealing with PTS, teaching them how to use filmmaking to re-create their narrative and tell their story how THEY want to tell it. Working on dealing with the trauma in a creative, healing way.
