About Aylam Orian

Aylam Orian was born in Cleveland, USA, and raised in Israel.
He studied film at Tel Aviv University Film & TV Department, where he won several prizes for his work, including 2 consecutive Keren Sharett scholarships.

After working in the local film & TV industry for a few years, while acting in commercials and short films, Aylam moved to New York to study acting at the legendary Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. While studying there, he also became the Strasberg Institute’s archivist, where he single-handedly organized and preserved Lee Strasberg’s private collections of materials on acting and the theatre arts. After 9 years of working with Lee Strasberg's materials, and starting to teach Method Acting, Aylam moved to Los Angeles to further his acting career.

For more than 2 decades now, Aylam has been acting in films, theatre, TV, commercials and voice overs. Credits include: TV shows Stargate Origins (Series Regular), NCIS:LA, Code Black, AJ & The Queen, The Guest Book, America's Most wanted; the films The Informer, Ford V. Ferarri, Grace and Grit; the plays Anne (US premiere), You Kippur, Uncle Vanya. A short film Aylam directed and acted in - A Nightmare on Bialik Street - was screened at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, and his movement-theatre show 'Beautiful Word...' has received critical acclaim in New York City.
