About Aya Ben Ron

Aya Ben Ron (b. 1967) is a multi-disciplinary artist, living and working in Tel Aviv. Her work combines video, moving image, installation, sculpture and painting. Her web projects are presented at front.com.

Ben Ron has won several prizes and awards, including the 2011 Dizengoff Prize; 2010 Special Projects in Art, Joshua Rabinovich Foundation; 2009 Isracard and Tel Aviv Museum of Art Prize for an Israeli Artist; 2008 The Minister of Culture Prize; 2008 Janet and George Jaffin Prize for Excellence in the Visual Arts, America-Israel Cultural Foundation; 2005 Creativity Encouragement Prize, The Ministry of Education and Culture; Special Projects in Art, Joshua Rabinovich Foundation, Tel Aviv; 2002 Young Artist Prize, The Ministry of Education and Culture, Israel; 2001 London Arts Development Fund, London, UK.
